The most promising crypto-currencies in March 2023 | CoinJournal
You have decided to invest in a crypto-currency, but you don’t know which one to choose. So we decided to offer you a guide to tell you the best crypto-currencies of March 2023. In this ranking, we wanted to give you really solid crypto-currencies that should not allow you to make big profits but to invest safely. We also mention some crypto-currencies that are very promising but inevitably have a bit more risk.
1. The Bitcoin
Bitcoin is the most well-known currency, and rightly so. Bitcoin has preceded all other crypto-currencies. Its meteoric rise in late 2017 proved to investors that now is the time to buy crypto-currencies more than ever. It is simply unavoidable and is considered a valuable reserve for more and more institutions, hedge funds and banks.

2. Ethereum
Second on the list, the well-known Ethereum has beaten the odds by competing directly with Bitcoin on its home turf. It is the most stable and fastest growing currency in recent months. You should buy it now, because the price will soon become prohibitive. There is a good chance that Ethereum will surpass Bitcoin in the next few years.

3. Ripple
Ripple may be the currency of the future that will appeal to institutions. It has already caught the attention of banks, and its innovative data-sharing system continues to find favor with investors. It’s a very strong crypto, but it’s climbing fast: don’t delay in buying it, especially after the current September drop.

4. The Cardano
Ranking fourth in our March ranking, Cardano is appealing because this smart contract solution was developed by researchers and is based on accurate research (unlike other currencies). Discreet at the beginning of 2018, it is finally making a lot of noise in recent months. It should continue to climb slowly in the coming months, target $4

5. Polkadot
The Polkadot (DOT) aims to set up para-chains capable of interacting with each other. Created by the former founder of Ethereum Gavin Wood, it is perhaps THE future solution that will perhaps dethrone Ethereum and its high transaction fees. It is therefore to be watched very closely, and we place a target at $100 for the end of 2023.

6. Solana
The price of Solana exploded in August/September 2021 to reach $200! Incredible when you consider that this smart contract solution was only $10 at the end of July. After a definite correction to come, which we believe to be around $100-120, Solana has significant upside prospects as this solution is attracting so much excitement from developers and the crypto sphere. Eventually, Solana can easily reach $500

7. Chainlink
Chainlink is the solution that offers “oracles”, which allow to integrate into a blockchain information from the outside world. It is thus a crypto that has huge potential as it can interact with many existing blockchain and offers interoperability solutions. Chainlink is of course on our radar and its price target at the end of 2023 is $90.

8. Uniswap
Uniswap is a must-have on the Ethereum blockchain as it allows converting Ethers into other ERC-20 coins. After seeing its price rise exponentially in early 2021, the token has corrected and now offers an interesting buying opportunity. Our take profit is $50 for 2023.

9. The Litecoin
Litecoin is a bit like Bitcoin, but lighter. It is therefore one of the hottest currencies of the moment, as it offers an alternative to the very expensive (and very slow) Bitcoin. To be continued. It is not impossible that LTC will become a virtual currency in the years to come, or even that it will replace some fiat currencies. Some Latin American countries have already taken such a leap forward.

The sure values
These are currencies that you can invest in without any problem.
- Bitcoin is obviously the benchmark of crypto-currencies. It owes this to a value that remains stable and a very strong market presence. However, it is not the crypto-currency that will allow you to make big profits, but it represents a safe investment that can still be interesting in the long run.
- Ethereum is also a currency that has managed to make a good place for itself in the market. A large number of projects are indeed launched via ethereum, which makes it a safe bet that will not lose value as long as the crypto-currency market holds up well.
- Litecoin is an improved version of bitcoin. Although it didn’t work out as well as hoped, it is still one of the most interesting crypto-currencies. It works similarly to bitcoin and remains just as stable.
- Monero is a privacy-based currency that allows you to make anonymous payments. It manages to continue its development, especially thanks to the support of its community, which is very active and loyal. Like the other blue chips, it is a very stable crypto-currency.
- Finally, Ripple is a bit of a special crypto-currency, as it manages to fit perfectly into the banking system. However, if you want to invest in ripple, we advise you to do so rather quickly, as it is still in an ascending phase.
The underdogs
They are reliable currencies but lack the aura and stability of blue chips.
- AVAX (Avalanche), which has the potential to be THE payment method of choice for NFTs (works of art or virtual assets)
- RUNE (Thorchain) is a decentralized cross-chain exchange platform, compatible with all blockchains. Have you ever dreamed of being able to exchange (or “swap”) ETH directly into DOT? It’s possible thanks to DEX Thorswap!
- MINA is a blockchain that differs from others in that it is extremely small in size unlike the gigantic blockchains of established crypto-currencies, and has the potential to be a game changer in many areas.
The newcomers
These are crypto-currencies that have just arrived or will arrive soon. So they still have a lot to prove, but they still have interesting potential.
- The Golem is a project that allows you to be rewarded by letting you use the CPU space you don’t need. However, the project is still in the development phase and therefore still has everything to prove.
- The Sonm works in a similar way to the Golem. However, it is a project that should offer even more power. The Sonm has so far failed to make a real mark on the market and its value is at a low. But it has all the assets to offer a spectacular surge in the coming months.
- BAT is another interesting crypto-currency to follow. It involves an attractive project consisting of a browser that would generate more user attention on ads. This project is led by the people who created Mozilla Firefox.
- Bancor is a crypto-currency that managed to raise $153 million in three hours. This shows the potential of this crypto-currency and the expectation it can generate. Also, since they raised 150,000 ETH more than expected, Bancor is guaranteed to keep a price of 0.1 ETH for several months.
- EOS is a crypto-currency which is announced as the main competitor of ethereum. It is indeed a similar operating system to ethereum but with greater scalability.
- Waves is a blockchain platform that facilitates loyalty. It is completely transparent and decentralized. Moreover, it has a huge potential. As proof, Burger King used Waves to launch its loyalty program.
- Steem is another crypto-currency to watch out for in the future. It is a currency obtained by posting and commenting on the Steemit platform. This platform was launched in March 2016 and already has 350,000 users.
- Qtum is another crypto-currency quite close to ethereum. It is indeed considered as the Chinese ethereum, but its great strength is to bet on a great respect for the environment by proposing a less energy consuming operation.
- Tezos is a crypto-currency that allows for anonymous transactions, but it is also possible to use Tezos to create decentralized applications. In addition, Tezos is one of the most supported current projects with a fundraising of $230 million.
- Finally, Unity Ingot is the last of these crypto-currencies to watch. This is a crypto-currency that is mostly based on mining. It does indeed fund the mining of a very wide variety of crypto-currencies. This means that the evolution of its value will be close to the evolution of the value of crypto-currencies in general.
Things to remember
- Blue chips are crypto-currencies that you can invest in with as little risk as possible.
- Underdogs are crypto-currencies that are not expected to have any problems and are relatively safe investments.
- Finally, the newcomers are recent crypto-currencies that need to prove themselves. However, they all have interesting potential. They are, however, a riskier investment.
